This KAOSSILATOR really rocks it . I have the Kaoss Pad 2 and it is super cool, but wow, seeing this thing rock it makes me think it could be a really great investment in for the studio, maybe next year when there’s more of a cash inflow!

It was pretty cool hanging out in Malpais with Malte and his girlfriend. The sunset groove was cool and a lot of people told me later they were enjoying it down by the beach. Malpais is really an incredible part of Costa Rica, a lot of work to get there, but worth it when you get there.

This is a mix I did that’s pretty minimal I did for Elisabeta Rogiani’s fashion show in New York in 2008.

Today was a rare day. I made music with an actual human being in Brussels, Belgium. It’d been a while. Last time was, gosh, it’s pathetic, but I really think it was in June with a rapper from Turrialba named Danny. Well, this is not really true, my six month old daughter plays with me sometimes, but when you are immobile and have know choice where you are it’s not counting completely.
The technology was starting to get in the way. It has been snowing in Belgium this past week, as it has been heavily reported. As a result he had all of his gear sitting still at a bar from his gig the previous Friday evening. Luckily I had experience of not having enough gear so I had brought my Firebox Presonus Firewire Card, my 1/8″ jack to 1/4″ stereo splitter (ended up being key to the collaboration) a microphone and many other cables, my 3 korg nano controllers for sliding, piano & beats, and my Kore 2 Controller.
Gael, aka, Hand Job Noizetalgik, whose myspace page is here usually plays with all analogue devices but we routed in Ableton Live his computer into my Live rig and I added a send to his in, took a little while to figure it out because I usually use my MOTU Ultralite in the studio and only DJ with my Firebox, and don’t usually use anything but my
Will upload (well, link, just discovered a 10mb upload limitation in the ini.php or was it php.ini file, seems to be site-wide, tried to work around by uploading the 60mb file into the same directory of the woman who likes mayonnaise on her burger and WordPress doesn’t seem to recognize it. I love technology!
